Mercedes makes cars that talk to us 🙊

Mercedes announced a three-month beta program of voice-controlled Chat-GPT in its cars. Owners of 900,000 Mercedes vehicles equipped with the MBUX infotainment will be able to add the function.

Owners will be able to use the “Hey Mercedes” function to access Chat-GPT plugins that perform tasks like making restaurant reservations and booking parking spaces.

“Everything is under one big goal: Redefining the relationship with your Mercedes.”

White Castle has rolled out a freshman class of AI chatbots that work 24hr “shifts” at its drive-thrus. The bots have a conversational approach to ordering and encourage customers to add an extra burger or dessert to their order where they can. 🍪

This technology can free up resources for staff at a time of national worker shortages in the food service sector. White Castle stands alongside Wendy’s, McDonald’s, and Checkers rolling out drive-thru bots. 🤖
