Amazon CEO Andy Jassy stated last Thursday that "every single one" of the company's businesses has "multiple generative AI initiatives going on right now."

Jassy emphasized the importance of AI across the company as a whole during their Q2 earnings call:

So what will this look like?

With all this talk of chatbots across multiple companies (we’ve already mentioned Facebook), we’re thinking Alexa will probably be getting significantly chattier, too.

Gone may be the days of having to come up with a wildly imaginative bedtime story for your kid as Alexa might benefit from partnerships with Disney, Lego, and others.

Just think, a Cinderella-narrated tale of a forest adventure could send your kid straight to sleep.

Or you could use it for yourself.

We won’t share that info.

But Alexa might 😉

X Marks a New Spot: AI.com ❎

Two-letter .com domains are like digital gold. 🪙

They’re short and memorable. Kinda like this guy …

They're rare (only 676 exist),

they're valuable (some sell for millions),

and they're only going to get more so.

Up until about two weeks ago, if you went to the URL: ai.com, you would end up at the landing page for ChatGPT, owned by OpenAI (who probably paid $10mil+ this past February).

Now it’s a homepage for xAI, Elon Musk’s new artificial intelligence startup company seeking to “understand the true nature of the universe”.

There’s no way this deal didn’t go down for at least $12mil.

Bet it was paid in Dogecoin 😉

And we also bet it’s not the last we see of this X wave and branding saga.
