Automate Your Meetings With AI

AI has changed the reality of video conferencing.

There are dozens of AI tools out there that you can use to improve your meetings by automating note-taking.

Take ‘Jamie’ for example, a personal AI meeting assistant that generates meeting notes during your meeting and summarizes them within seconds.

When the meeting is done, Jamie will send you an executive summary along with the decisions you’ve agreed on and the action items you mentioned on the call.

Up until now, there has been silence from Google Meet and Zoom on the matter.

But now, both players are throwing their hat into the ring.

During the video-conferencing boom of 2020, you may remember Google rebranded ‘Google Hangout’ to ‘Google Meet’.

and it’s been a huge hit, mostly due to its simplicity.

Google Meet doesn’t require an app to run, rather it runs within a tab in your browser. It’s so much easier than Zoom.

And now Google is upgrading once again with ‘Duet’.

Duet is Google Meet’s built-in AI note assistant.. and it’s awesome

Google Meet’s ‘Duet’ tool is awesome for a number of reasons:

1. You no longer have to download a 3rd party app to take AI notes in a meeting.

2. Duet automatically connects with your Google Drive so you don’t have to mess with receiving different files and emails.

3. If you’re double booked, Duet can ‘attend‘ a meeting on your behalf. On a meeting invite, you can click ‘attend for me’ and type in a few ideas or questions you’d want to mention in the call. Those notes will be viewable to attendees during the meeting so that they can discuss them.

Google is taking video chats to a new level.

Even if that might mean fewer video chats.
